About the role

Biolytica is looking for a front-end engineer to build fast, polished, accessible web interfaces on a focused, time-bound project. This is a role for someone who takes real pride in their craft: clean code, smooth interactions, and interfaces that feel effortless to the people using them.

What you'll do
  • Build responsive, performant web interfaces from design through production.
  • Translate designs and product requirements into clean, maintainable, well-tested front-end code.
  • Own the details: accessibility, cross-browser behavior, performance, and visual polish.
  • Work closely with design and back-end engineering to ship features quickly without cutting corners.
  • Deliver production-ready work within a focused project timeline.
What we're looking for
  • Strong, demonstrable front-end experience with a portfolio or code samples that show the quality of your work.
  • Deep command of modern JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one major framework (e.g. React, Vue, or Svelte).
  • Expert-level HTML and CSS, with a real eye for layout, responsiveness, and detail.
  • Solid grasp of web performance, accessibility (WCAG), and front-end testing.
  • Comfort integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs and collaborating with back-end engineers.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results on a short timeline.
